Summer Programs For High School StudentsThe Barcelona Experience
All students will meet at John F. Kennedy airport in New York City, where they will be greeted by a Columbia University staff member. On both the departure and return trips, students are accompanied by an experienced Columbia University resident adviser.
The group will leave for Barcelona on Saturday, June 30, 2012. Details on the flight will be available in the spring. Please be aware that should you miss the scheduled flight for any reason, you will be responsible for making new travel arrangements and paying the additional charge. No portion of your program fee will be refunded.
You must carry a valid passport with you on your trip. U.S. citizens do not require a visa to travel to Spain. If you are a citizen of another country you should check with the consulate of Spain as to whether or not you need a visa. If you are a non-U.S. citizen and are required by Spain to have a visa, you will not be permitted to depart with the group if you fail to get one. Please see the International Students page for more information regarding visas.
A private bus will transport the group to the airport for the return trip to New York on Saturday, July 21. Details on the return flight will be available in the spring. Students are responsible for their own travel arrangements upon arriving in New York.
