Facilities

The residence hall has a computer terminal for limited free Internet/e-mail access, and a lounge area that includes two television rooms, snack bar, and vending machines. It also has card-operated washing machines and dryers, along with an iron and ironing board.

Barcelona Experience participants have access to the DIR Fitness Club located a few blocks from the residence. The facility, open seven days a week, houses a full range of gym equipment and weights, an outdoor pool, and extensive grounds for sunbathing.

Computing facilities are available at the University of Barcelona on class days. At the residence hall public computer access is limited. Students are required to bring their own laptops, and Internet connection is available in their rooms.

Experience proves that it can be a great convenience to have a functioning cell phone, although it is not mandatory.
