In this study abroad program in Spain, academic work breaks out of the classroom and into the city itself, providing an exciting and mind-expanding journey into Barcelona's art, culture, traditions, and heritage.
Students in the program share a common three-course curriculum taught in English, supplemented by a Spanish-language workshop. See Courses.
Two Fridays in Spain are devoted to program-related travel, geared toward expanding upon and enriching course content. See Travel.
Students live at a University of Barcelona residence hall. See Housing.
The group is accompanied throughout the program by the Columbia University High School Programs Site Director, Evelyn Tavarelli.
