Advising
Prior to registration, enrolled students are encouraged to meet each term with the Program Director for academic advising. In the second term of study each student is assigned a mentor who oversees the development of the master’s project.
Nondegree students who wish to take Technology Management courses must submit a résumé or CV and a statement of purpose detailing how the course fits into an overall career development plan to the Program Director.

A panel of admissions directors from Columbia’s varied schools, including the School of Continuing Education, Columbia Business School, Graduate School of Arts and Sciences and School of International and Public Affairs, will discuss the attributes they seek in successful applicants to their top-tier programs. Topics include academic requirements, advice on writing stand-out personal essays, and creating a desirable application package.
