Stephen Davy Biography
Stephen Davy is a global Information Technology executive who has held senior IT positions in multiple industries including consumer product goods, institutional brokerage, investment banking, and retail and wholesale financial services. Presently, Davy is the Global Sales Technology head and CIO for Newedge Americas, a global institutional brokerage firm. Davy is responsible for all of the firms trading, execution and client platforms as well as leading the Americas region. Previously, Davy was the Vice President of Information Technology at Altria Group Inc. where he led all the IT initiatives in the restructuring of Altria Group that resulted in the spinoff of Kraft Foods and Philip Morris International. Davy also led the negotiations for enterprise IT contracts including the outsourcing of IT services delivery. His additional responsibilities included the Chief technology office functions as well as the CIO of shared service divisions such as global treasury, finance, human resources and legal. Prior to joining Altria, Davy held senior positions in the investment banking technology group at Barclays Capital. He was responsible for development of key trading platforms and helping the firm transition from regional trading centers to global trading platforms. Davy introduced the first digital market data platform at Barclays. Early in his career, Davy was in the retail and wholesale banking divisions at JPMorgan Chase. Davy holds a B.S. and M.S in business administration and finance.
