Perry Rotella Biography
Perry F. Rotella is senior vice president and chief information officer of Verisk Analytics. He is responsible for development and execution of information technology initiatives in support of the company’s business operations.
Before joining Verisk, Rotella was senior vice president and chief information officer of Moody’s Corporation, where he served as the first CIO for the corporation and was responsible for all aspects of information technology strategy, support, and operations globally. Before that, he served as CIO for AIG’s domestic brokerage group and as AIG’s global chief technology officer. Previously, he spent 15 years at American Management Systems (AMS), where he filled a number of roles in the consulting organization and became chief technology officer for the insurance technology group.
Rotella serves as the president of the New York chapter of the Society for Information Management (SIM). SIM is an association of senior IT executives, academicians and consultants who come together to share and enhance their intellectual capital for the benefit of members and their organizations.
Rotella holds a bachelor of arts degree in mathematics and economics from the University of Pennsylvania.
