Paul Amorello Biography
Paul Amorello is senior vice president of information technology at Pepperidge Farm, Inc., and Godiva Chocolatier, both units of the Campbell Soup Company. Amorello is responsible for all aspects of IT at both companies. He joined Pepperidge Farm as vice president of IT in 1997. In late 2000, he also assumed the role of vice president of IT for Campbell Soup’s sales and marketing functions in the North American soup and food and beverage businesses, and was promoted to his current position in 2002. Prior to coming to Pepperidge Farm, Amorello spent thirteen years at PepsiCo, Inc., and its family of companies in various capacities. The first five years were spent in the finance and strategic business planning functions and the remaining time in information technology in many roles including leading technology planning and applications development teams. Amorello is a member of the Fairfield/Westchester chapter of the Society for Information Management (SIM) and is a 1996 graduate of the SIM Leadership Development Institute. He is also a member of the Grocery Manufacturers of America (GMA) Information Systems Committee. In June 2004, Paul was selected by Consumer Goods Technology Magazine as one of the “25 Most Influential Consumer Goods Executives that Make a Difference.”
