Michael Kingston Biography
Michael Kingston has an extensive background in global technology management with 20 years of experience in the retail, consumer products and luxury goods industries. Presently, Kingston serves as senior vice president, chief information officer for Ann Taylor Stores Corporation where he has led a complete transformation of the IT function. More recently, Kingston took on the added responsibility of leading Ann Taylor’s shared services function, aimed at driving efficiency across accounts payable, purchasing, credit, sales audit, payroll and HRIS.
Prior to joining Ann Taylor, Kingston led global application development and implementation for Coach Inc. Prior to that, he spent eight years at Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton, where he spearheaded the creation of an enterprise wide shared services model in North America and Asia-Pacific. Kingston began his career at Castrol North America, where he spent five years in various technology management roles.
Kingston holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from William Paterson University.
