John Varricchio
John Varricchio has 20 years of business and IT management consulting experience assisting numerous client organizations with strategic initiatives, including developing and implementing IT Strategy, enterprise-wide programs, business operations improvement, optimizing business value of IT, technology management/integration, IT architecture, software development, business intelligence, information management, M&A, CRM, business process optimization, SG&A cost reduction and shared services initiatives. Varricchio is a partner with Ernst and Young and has extensive leadership experience having started and led numerous consulting practices in his career including the insurance solutions, CRM and business intelligence practices. He works with senior executives at client organizations to optimize and utilize IT to enable business transformation and operations improvement in the financial services and private equity industries. He started teaching at Columbia in 1999 and is a frequent speaker at conferences. He holds a B.S. in computer science from St. John’s University and an M.S. in information management from Polytechnic University.
