Through the rigorous curriculum, students master business fundamentals, and develop specialized knowledge in marketing, finance and management, while strengthening their strategic thinking skills.

The program benefits students working toward their individual goals, including those looking to:

  • Build a foundation in business to support their aspirations to pursue an M.B.A.
  • Expand their knowledge in a specific field of business.
  • Add new skills to a current position by applying the concepts learned in the classroom to on the job decision making.
  • Enhance their undergraduate or graduate work with a foundational business toolkit.

To earn the Business Certificate, students must complete four courses in the prescribed curriculum or a custom program decided upon with the help of an advisor with a B- or better in each course. Online and on-campus courses allow for flexible options of study to meet the needs of working professionals. International students have different options and application requirements.
