Welcome to Columbia's Summer Program for High School Students. We are looking forward to a wonderful summer on campus, and we are pleased to welcome so many talented students to the program.
The required MMR forms and important information about paying the program fee are available on this Web site. Residential students can also find more information about preparing to live on campus. Please make certain to visit the checklist to finalize your enrollment.
Session I runs from Sunday, June 24, through Saturday, July 14, for students living on campus and from Monday, June 25, to Friday, July 13, for commuters. Classes meet every day, Monday through Friday, with the exception of the second Wednesday, July 4, the Independence Day holiday. Residential students check into the dorms on Sunday, June 24, between 12:00 and 2:00 p.m.
Session II runs from Monday, July 16, through Saturday, August 4, for students living on campus and from Tuesday, July 17, to Friday, August 3, for commuters. Classes begin on Tuesday, July 17, and meet Monday through Friday thereafter. Residential students check into the dorms on Monday, July 16, between 12:00 and 2:00 p.m.
All Session I students are required to attend orientation at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, June 25, and Session II students are required to attend orientation at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 17, in the auditorium of Lerner Hall, located on the Columbia campus at Broadway and 115th Street. There you will receive information about course schedules and locations and about various extracurricular activities. Classes begin immediately afterwards.
