Billing and Payment

E-Billing

Student account statements are distributed electronically. All billing notifications are sent directly to students at their Columbia University e-mail address; no other address is used. Consequently, students are required to activate their Columbia e-mail accounts immediately after registering. For additional information on electronic billings see the Guide to E-Billing, available in 203 Lewisohn Hall or 205 Kent Hall.

Registration is not complete until all tuition and fees have been paid or an agreement has been reached about schedule of billing and payment.

Checks must be in U.S. currency drawn on a U.S. bank.
