Advising and Support

The Office of Student Life and Alumni Relations (SLAR) provides enrolled students with academic counseling and advice about matters relating to their lives as students in the School and at the University. The Student Life staff provides students with referrals to other offices, both on and off campus, as necessary. But nothing substitutes for face-to-face meetings with an advisor. We encourage you to come into the Office of Student Life and Alumni Relations and/or make an appointment to see your program director whenever you have questions or concerns. Our goal is to ensure your experience be as rewarding as possible.

ALP Advising and Support

Our goal is to ensure your experience be as rewarding as possible.

ALP Walk-In Advising Hours

Monday 10 a.m.-12 p.m.
Tuesday 2 p.m.-4 p.m.
Wednesday 10 a.m.-12 p.m.
Thursday 2 p.m.-4 p.m.

If you cannot come in during the ALP Walk-In Advising Hours, please email alp-advising@columbia.edu to schedule an appointment. Appointments may be made Monday-Friday.
