Name Changes

Students may change their name of record at Columbia University only while currently enrolled in the University.

To change your name on your academic profile, bring the following forms of ID to the location below:

• Government-issued photo ID
• Another form of ID
• Proof of use of the old name (credit card, CUID, marriage certificate, bank statement, etc.)
