Keli Goff
A workshop that will teach you how to use the blogosphere to maximize the potential of your personal and professional brand. Participants will learn how to most effectively position themselves and their message in the ever-changing online landscape.
As an expert on youth and minority voters Keli Goff emerged as one of the most recognizable political pundits of the 2008 presidential election cycle. She has appeared on numerous national programs including: “The CBS Early Show,” CNN’s “Anderson Cooper 360,” FOX News Channel’s “Fox and Friends,” MSNBC’s “Verdict with Dan Abrams” and BET’s “The Truth with Jeff Johnson” for which she was a contributor. She has also served as a source for news outlets ranging from the Wall Street Journal to USA Today.
A political blogger for TheLoop21.com, Keli is also a regular contributor to the homepage of the Huffington Post and was the in-house election expert for Seventeen Magazine’s Electionista blog. Her writing has also appeared in the publications UPTOWN, Cosmopolitan and TIME Magazine. She is a featured essayist in the recently published collection The Speech: Race and Barack Obama’s A More Perfect Union, and is the author of the book Party Crashing: How the Hip-Hop Generation Declared Political Independence. Featuring interviews with voters and high profile leaders, including former Secretary of State Colin Powell and hip-hop mogul Russell Simmons, Party Crashing is one of the first books to document the rise of “Generation Obama.” Her second book is to be published by Simon and Schuster in 2010.
Goff holds a B.A. from New York University and a master’s degree in strategic communications from Columbia University.
