Prospective Students
University Faculty and Officers of Research at Columbia are eligible to apply for a variety of academic programs through the School of Continuing Education.
The Postbaccalaureate Studies program offers you the opportunity to take a course or courses. Faculty and Research Officers of the University will complete an abbreviated application consisting of contact and citizenship information, and will not be assessed the application fee nor be required to submit additional documents.
Simply complete an abbreviated Postbaccalaureate Studies application, consisting of contact and citizenship information. No other documents or information are required, and you will not be assessed an application fee. Within 24 hours, you will receive your welcome letter, at which time you can fill out and send along your registration form, which we provide. Our staff will handle this initial class registration on your behalf and our Student Services team will contact you directly. Evening courses are available in many of the departments in the Arts and Sciences. Visit our Fall/Spring courses or Summer courses pages for detailed course information.
Please note, upon submission of this form the School of Continuing Education will create a student record for you and you will be registered for the designated courses.

The School of Continuing Education offers Master of Science degree programs, most of which are designed to accommodate the scheduling needs of working professionals. Employees are held to the same academic standards as matriculated students at the University, and are required to follow the calendars, admissions requirements, and administrative policies posted throughout the Continuing Education website.
