  • HAUS W1101x-W1102. Elementary Hausa, I and II. 4 pts.

    Presents the essential grammar and basic vocabulary of Hausa, a major language of northwestern Nigeria and the adjacent southern Niger. Also provides students with the opportunity to practice speaking and reading the Hausa language.

  • HAUS W1201x-W1202. Intermediate Hausa, I and II. 4 pts.

    Prerequisites: HAUS W1101-W1102 or the instructor's permission.

    Further develops a student's knowledge of Hausa, a major language of northwestern Nigeria and the adjacent southern Niger.
