Technical Requirements for Online Courses

Most modern computers will be able to access the courses without a problem. The Learning Studio platform works with both Windows (Windows XP, Vista, or 7) and Macintosh (Mac OS X or higher) computers and most web browsers. Below is a complete list of supported browsers:

Windows:
• Microsoft Internet Explorer 7.0+
• Mozilla Firefox 3.0+
• Google Chrome 5.0+

Macintosh:
• Safari 4.0+
• Firefox 3.0+
• Google Chrome 5.0+

You will need a strong Internet broadband connection to participate in the online courses. You should also have the latest plug-in for Flash (www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/).

Each of the courses will contain live instructional sessions. To participate in these sessions, you will need a microphone/headset. We recommend an USB-based microphone and headset such as the Logitech Premium USB Headset 350 (http://tinyurl.com/hphone1) or Logitech ClearChat Comfort USB Headset (http://tinyurl.com/hphone2), but other standard microphone-headset arrangements are supported and should work fine.
