William Magruder
William Magruder is an architect and an illustrator who has taught two-dimensional and three-dimensional design drawing in the U.S. and abroad. For a number of years Magruder consulted to residential landscape contractors in southern California, providing both design and illustration services. His graphic work has been exhibited around the country, and has received an award from the American Society of Architectural Perspectivists. He was an instructor at the Istituto Superiore di Architetura e Design in Milan, where he taught perspective drawing to students of landscape architecture. His paintings have been included in shows in Venice of work by artist-architects. Magruder graduated from U.C.L.A. with a B.S. in engineering, and he received his M. Arch. from Carnegie-Mellon University.
