Jennifer Cooper

Jennifer Cooper is a registered landscape architect with ten years professional experience. She received her bachelor's degree in landscape architecture from Clemson University and her master's of landscape architecture from the Harvard Graduate School of Design. A majority of her work has included public and private landscapes in New York City at Mathews Nielsen Landscape Architects. She served as president of the New York chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects in 2008, and has remained involved in the New York metropolitan area landscape architectural community. Internationally, she has lectured on greenroofs and sustainability, and was recently published in Topos. 

Awarded the Penny White Travel Grant in 2010, Cooper studied the intersection of ports and marshes in Europe. Her current focus includes the industrial landscapes of the New Jersey Meadowlands and small to medium scale urban design.
