Dr. Arthur Langer to Participate in Wall Street Journal CIO Network
School of Continuing Education, Oct 17 2012
Dr. Arthur Langer, Academic Director of the Executive Master’s in Technology Management program at the School of Continuing Education, will participate in the Wall Street Journal CIO Network in San Diego, on January 14 – 15, 2013.
The Wall Street Journal CIO Network brings together nearly 100 of the world’s leading chief information and technology officers to debate and decide on action plans for addressing key technology and innovation challenges facing corporations today. It is a membership organization of the world’s top technology executives from global corporations, designed to provide a forum for CIOs and CTOs to understand the challenges in today’s world of rapid innovation and to develop concrete strategies for meeting them. Information technology has become the cardiovascular system for large corporations, and that makes the CIO ever more critical to those organizations’ success.
In addition to Dr. Langer, notable figures scheduled to attend include Robert Reich, former Secretary of Labor, Meg Whitman, President and CEO, Hewlett Packard, and Michael Chertoff, former Secretary of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
