Elizabeth Greenwood teaches University Writing at Columbia University, where she is earning an M.F.A. in nonfiction writing. Her work has appeared in The Believer, Poets & Writers, Guernica, and the online editions of Atlantic Monthly and The New Yorker. She is currently at work on a book about people who have faked their own deaths.
