Terence D. Cook

Terence is the Founder and Executive Director of C2N Consulting, LLC, a nationally recognized, consulting firm for nonprofit organizations wanting to gain the skills necessary to achieve excellence in fiscal management. Terence brings an in-depth knowledge of the not-for-profit sector, with a focus on fiscal accountability, governance and education with more than 25 years of experience in nonprofit management and local government, both in his native Great Britain & internationally.

Prior to starting C2N Consulting, Terence spent nine years as a senior consultant and manager at FMA, LLC, where he designed and implemented fiscal reporting and oversight processes and systems for clients across the USA. Terence is an experienced Director of Finance and Operations, managing all fiscal, I.T. and H.R. functions at the Stonewall Community Foundation, granting $1,000,000 per year to LGBTQ community-based organizations. He was also the director of the Alliance for Nonprofit Governance (now known as Governance Matters), a collaborative organization dedicated to strengthening strong board leadership.

Terence's other consulting experience includes providing services to the United Nations Development Program where he planned fiscal devolution for Cambodia and a training program for the county's finance ministers. He also spent three years implementing education programs for Vietnamese asylum seekers in Hong Kong, China, for the United Nation's High Commission for Refugees.

Terence holds a Master of Public Administration from the Robert F. Wagner School at New York University and received a Bachelor of Education from South Bank University, London.
