Mark I. Kalish

Mark I. Kalish, CFRE, is the founder and president of Kalish & Associates, Inc., a full-service fundraising consulting firm specializing in capital campaigns, executive search, and strategic planning. He has served as vice president of institutional advancement at Hunter College, vice president and national campaign director of the American Committee for the Weizmann Institute of Science, and 10 years as director of the Northeast regional office of Johns Hopkins University and Hospital, during two capital campaigns that together raised over $2.1 billion. His other development experience includes positions at the New York Hall of Science and New York University, where he led the alumni relations and annual giving programs for the university and served as chief development officer for the undergraduate business school. Kalish served on the boards of the local Greater New York Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) and the national AFP Foundation for Philanthropy. He holds a B.A. from the State University of New York at New Paltz and an M.P.A. from Baruch College.
