Christopher Hughes
Christopher J. Hughes is the deputy chief development officer for research and strategic planning at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, leading a team that provides strategy and support for The Fund for the Met, the Museum’s capital campaign, which has raised over $1 billion for gallery and facility renovations, as well as endowment for acquisitions, educational programs, and technological initiatives. The team also advises the Museum’s corporate, special exhibition sponsorship, and individual giving programs. He is a former member of the board of directors of the Greater New York chapter of the Association of Professional Researchers for Advancement (APRA). He has frequently presented at conferences and seminars for APRA International, AFP, and the King Baudouin Foundation United States, among others. He received a B.S. in business administration from St. Joseph’s College and an M.B.A. in finance from St. John’s University.
