Executive Education inGlobal Communications
In 2012, twenty-four students participated in the program. They came from seven countries, including Brazil, Germany, Mexico, Switzerland, the US and the United Arab Emirates working for private, governmental and non-governmental organizations in public relations, education, engineering, luxury, air-travel, science, pharmaceutical and financial services, among others.
Since the program’s inception in 2009, students have given us valuable feedback:
“Great program. The variety, level of engagement, and experience of the speakers and participants was fantastic, I learned a lot.”
"We had a terrific cross section of people who are all very special and unpredictably connected."
“It was an amazing experience to learn and to work, during these two weeks, with international colleagues. A great opportunity to share thoughts and experiences as well as exchange ideas.”
“The new knowledge and experiences inspired me to rethink and reflect on my work…my consciousness of the importance of strategic communications is much higher now. I'm looking forward to applying the input.”
“The program digs deep into strategy through a good mix of cases and theory. I have developed a more strategic way of thinking, moving away from tactical communication.”
“The program clearly succeeded in challenging my own approach to strategy. Coming from a work environment which is not only very private but consistently observed by the public eye, I gained a variety of strategic tactics, evaluation mechanisms which will be able to assist me going forward.”
“Excellent content, class size and diversity. In terms of learning from classmates, I believe we can continue to share experiences and learn much more from each other through our established network.”
“There are a lot of techniques and formats that I have learned that are applicable and which I plan to introduce in my company.”
“I realized I have been strong on tactics which worked in the short term. I learned how to explore the strategic approach to give long term value to my communications efforts."
“I am now thinking more strategically when setting up a media concept. I will take more time to think about the purpose of the communication."
“The program has broadened my view and also my understanding of my own role in communications.”
"I have enhanced my communications skills thanks to both the world class lectures and the interesting and enlightening discussion with my colleagues in the class."
"I think it is a fantastic course and I am sure it will be really helpful in my future career."
“The personal interaction and networking with global communication executives was invaluable.”
