Summer Programs For High School StudentsCulture and History: Understanding the Arab World
Emergency medical and travel insurance coverage while abroad is provided by the program. Generally, this insurance covers the cost of emergency care at either the residence or a local hospital. All participants are required to have their own medical and mental health insurance or Medicaid coverage.
To maintain order, provide a comfortable living environment, and ensure safety, students are expected to comply with a strict code of behavior which is consistent with those of the Summer Program for High School Students in New York and King's Academy. Students who fail to abide by that code are expelled immediately from the program and returned to the U.S. with additional expenses borne by their parents.
In the event of an expulsion, the representatives of the program will make arrangements for the expelled student's return flight to New York and will accompany the student to the airport. However, the expelled student will fly unaccompanied back to the U.S. and parents are expected to make arrangements for all subsequent travel in the U.S. No portion of tuition or fees will be refunded to an expelled student.
