Liem Tran

Liem Tran has over 12 years experience in the AEC industry and has worked as a designer, owner, owner's representative, and construction manager. He has been working for Bovis Lend Lease, a leading global project management and construction company, for over five years and is a BIM integration manager for their integrated projects group. In his current role, Tran leverages new and emerging technologies and Building Information Models (BIM) to assist the project teams and business with a variety of deliverables and tasks including 2D site safety, logistics, EHS Plans, 3D visualizations, 3D MEP Coordination, BIM Execution Plans, quantity extraction and 4D animations. He has worked on a variety of projects including educational, health care, residential, commercial, sports facilities and public work. Prior to his role of BIM integration manager, Tran served as a project manager in their operations group where his responsibilities encompassed managing scope changes, requisitions, schedules, quality control, requests for information, monthly reports and facilitating progress meetings.

Liem Tran holds a bachelor of science in landscape architecture from the University of California at Davis and is a LEED Accredited Professional - Building Design + Construction. He teaches IT Advantages in Construction.
