Aleksandra Chancy
Aleksandra Chancy is the founder and principal of DACK Consulting, a construction management consulting firm in White Plains, New York. Chancy oversees estimating, scheduling, and project management for all endeavors undertaken by the firm. Recent projects include the East River Ferry Landings and the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum in Manhattan; the Westchester County Courthouse in White Plains; and Mirax City, a 4.2-million-square-foot mixed-use facility with a $1 billion construction cost in Moscow, Russia. Prior to founding DACK, she held positions as project manager for York Hunter Construction in New York City and the Community Development Commission of the Los Angeles Housing Authority in California, and as senior project engineer for Stephen Perlof Design Engineers in Los Angeles. Chancy, a winner of the YWCA Tribute to Women in Industry Award, holds bachelor’s degrees in both architecture and civil engineering form the University of Miami and an M.S.C.E. from Purdue University.
