Kate Permut
Kate Permut is a marketing consultant and rebranding specialist with over 20 years in communications, business-to-business, and consumer services marketing. Prior to consulting, Permut was vice president of marketing for North America at Synovate, one of the top ten corporate market research firms in the world. In that role she founded and managed Synovate’s marketing communications department for the U.S., Canada, and Latin America, and directed a multinational team to create and launch the Synovate brand. Earlier she was head of marketing for BAIGlobal, a Synovate subsidiary, where she founded and managed the marketing function as well. Permut started her marketing career at American Express, where she held management positions in the international card marketing and travelers cheque groups, and developed and introduced the gift cheque product. She holds a B.A. in sociology/anthropology from Wellesley College and has a M.B.A. in marketing from Columbia Business School.
